I remember ...

Surely it was not the canyoneers to call this place Long Valley: the canyon is so short that as soon as it starts it is already over! Maybe that's why Valle Lunga has remained one of the less frequented canyoning routes in Lazio, or maybe because of the non-trivial access route ... The fact is that in 15 years from the time of its discovery the canyon might have traveled a dozen times, I don't think more.
But once overcome initial skepticism and won laziness, the ones who had traveled the canyon had not been disappointed, I am sure. Especially if they had found good water flow, like the one you see in the photographs.
