The creeks that join in Valle Cautara descend towards the plain of the Liri with a short canyon overcoming a sort of rocky step.
The environment and the complex shape of waterfalls make the descent more difficult than you guess considering the shortness of canyon and the modest height of the falls.

You must carry a lot of thinghs in your backpack to explore a canyon. Sometimes you may forget one, especially when the exploration seems easy, or you decide to go at the last moment, or you are in a period of great work stress ...
The conditions listed above were all there when I went to Cautara Valley, and so I forgot the camera at home.
