I remember ...

In mid-December 2017, finally, the terrible drought of unprecedented duration and intensity, ended. The heavy rains of November and the first half of December were finally able to fill underground aquifers, and water began to flow through the creeks. But rain was followed by icy air that brought the temperatures below zero and covered the rocks of the torrents with an invisible and slippery veil of ice.

For months I was waiting for the water to return to explore certain streams identified the year before, but frost forced me to postpone again. I had to limit myself to something not demanding and risky, at low altitude.
