I remember ...

The discovery of Pellicano canyon proves that the search for new canyoning routes in the hills near Rome is by no means over. It is so because:

canyons are often invisible from outside the valley
there might be a narrow in every creek, because the main factor who makes a narrow is orogeny. A high water flow is not needed to have a narrow
the number of streams and little valleys on the hills around Rome is really huge!
the abandonment of the countryside has made difficult reaching the valleys, turned back wild

Better this way: it means that I can play exploring canyons for years without needing to go far from home!
