Valle dei Preti flows into the canyon of the Acquaniti with an interesting sequence of waterfalls enclosed in a steep gorge. Once you arrive in main canyon, you must descend the final part of majestic Acquaniti gorge, graven in a beautiful, unusual pink conglomerate.

Part of the water flowing through Valle dei Preti comes from Pietrapaola's sewer depurator, and this took away a bit of the pleasure of descent. Just a bit, however.
