I remember ...

That day we also explored the part of Noce river at the foot of the Lagonegro hill, down to the confluence with torrent Serra. Downstream the tall Pietre Bianche viaduct, river Noce flows through a gorge. Huge boulders in the riverbed make little falls, subject to changes due to floods. The flow-rate is quite high in summer, and it can be decidedly dangerous in rainy seasons. We managed to descend this section without using rope (by taking a risk on a passage, actually), but this might not be always possible.
